Mission Statement..

Reef Simple Inc was founded and launched in 2009 with a single goal; to share knowledge with the entire reefing community in the simplest and most understandable way possible. Reef Simple aims to share, translate, and spread even the highest and most advanced levels of information about living reefs, to even the most novice of reef beginners to ensure a 100 percent success rate when establishing a home reef aquarium. ALL the time, EVERY time.

Yesterday..

Founded by Marc Mauro, like many other aquarium enthusiasts, Marc started at a very young age and quickly learned that this hobby, at times, can be quiet confusing as well as very costly when it comes to mislead information. Having no resources at the time, he decided to work at different aquarium retailers with hopes to learn about this fascinating underwater mystery. With one accomplishment in mind, he set out on a journey and spent countless years attempting to attain the secrets and intricacies on how to set up a successful reefing and saltwater ecosystem.

Unfortunately, like many in the hobby, his journey only provided endless encounters of frustrations and failures. While putting his trust in others, it was painfully obvious, because of lack of knowledge, mislead purchases, and incorrect guidance, it was going to be a little harder than he thought. Becoming discouraged, and feeling hopeless on what now started to feel more like a dream than a reality. He finally, decided to retire from the hobby, with the plan of never to return.

By complete chance, a few years later, while working, he stumbled upon an extremely successful reefer. As quickly as this reefer welcomed him into his home as a person, he was equally eager to welcome him into his world of knowledge about reefing. From that moment on, not only did her learn the intricacies that lead to extremely successful reef keeping, but more importantly he learned that there are other reefers out there that do share their success and base their values on a commitment to sharing knowledge to everyone and anyone on how to become nothing but...a success.

Today..

Not only, on a quest to establish a perfect reef system. Throughout Marc's journey, he learned that there are many other reefers in the hobby that have consistently run into the same problems that he has. Through conversations while propagating and trading coral from his own system, he realized, our current way of sharing information, isn't working. And so, from the depths of his imagination, Reef Simple emerged.

Tomorrow..

At the rate that this phenomenon has become, Reef Simple was created to aid everyone and anyone in how to become a success and not travel down that same road of frustration and failure. It is that same road that leads to the loss of millions of these delicate creatures lives.

Reef Simple recognizes that along with the positive in anything, there will always be negative afloat. Reef Simple is prepared to lead the good fight! Against ANY and ALL sources of misleading knowledge, instructions, livestock sales, and equipment that reflect personal gain and prey on the beginners.

Most importantly, Reef Simple is here to show everyone how to properly care for these unique underwater creatures. Reef Simple is here to share and promote breeding, coral propagation, and trade in order to preserve our reefs and underwater ecosystems instead of being part of its destruction. The goals are clear, Reef Simple wishes to unite the entire reefing community across the globe in order to share their expierences, as well as become the leading source of all streaming media, breaking interviews and information, that will help circulate the right knowledge and advances through the simplest ways possible.

We live in a time of fast paced societies where sometimes we don't have the time to sift through hundreds of pages to find answers that we are looking for, and so we give up or get discouraged and not learn it at all. Reef Simple is here to make that easy for you. Through sections such as our ReefAPedia and ReefTV, we are going to even the playing field when it comes to helping people understand everything they need to know on how to set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and propegate successful aquariums themselves. Reef Simple looks to eliminate the mistakes that occur time and time again, that only lead to the loss of lives as well as adding to the destruction of reefs for sake of profit and personal gain. With the help of the Reef Simple Community, you will be able to connect with anyone in your area, or outside your area in order to learn, share, and trade reefing knowledge. At the same time you will have access to the most scientific and ground breaking minds, videos, information the hobby has to offer!
